TW11 SOCIAL & DRINKS this Saturday 4th year anniversary! Ted'ton, 18th JAN 14

Work can get imbalanced so redress that social life - literally! TW11 Meetup, for the over 40 something yrs+, will be 4 years old on 14th Jan 2014! Not exclusively for single people, nor is it for dating purposes, but it is for both men and women, and it is a friendly group who offer a warm welcome and friendship which may grow from pursuing shared interests. It

Why not make this your first event, or come along to refresh old acquaintance? We aim to attract members who maybe have a good circle of friends but they do not necessarily live 'on the doorstep' so it's not easy to pop out - for a coffee, film or catchup over a drink. Or, if you have not long since moved to the area, it's another good way to meet local people of a similar, (middle) age!

Don't be nervous if it's is your first event - there's always a friendly person to welcome you, and thereafter, new friendships to create, so be brave and make that first move to socialising locally.

In the recent past, this Teddington-based Meetup has ticked along quietly, and we will never be likely to host large gatherings in noisy places, so please take this chance to kickstart your 2014 membership as the next similar event is unlikely to occur on the calendar (where there's other meetups already planned!) before March. If you have only ever been to one of our successful, regular quiz nights at the Adelaide, this is a good chance to meet other TW11 members in a sociable relaxed environment.

The Railway is a quiet pub (near the Adelaide) so we can have time for good chats, and enjoy the good wine list. There is also a food menu, including a wood-fired pizza oven if you just fancy a light bite. A table will be reserved for TW11.

Looking forward to meeting you! I am aiming to attract 20 people so bring a friend along if you wish (nb meetup fee - see below).

Park free outside, bus nearby (10 mins walk) and it's next to Platform 1/Ticket office side at Teddington station.
