Bushy Park &Thames to Kingston via Palace gardens A SAWW WALK 4 mls Sat 28th Jan

This isn't an 'official' TW11 walk - there are now so many local walking groups to which our TW11 members subscribe that I have decided that it is better to try to link up with these more expert walk leaders .

I have asked Derek, the SAWW meetup organiser, if he minds anyone from our meetup joining this walk as it is a Bushy Park / Thames path walk on our doorstep. It is a first come, first served event if you are interested - PLEASE DO NOT RSVP HERE!

The morning walk (4.5 miles) will start at 10.30 from Hampton Outdoor Pool and takes us into Bushy Park, where'll visit the WW2 memorials and the newly restored water gardens. We'll finish up at the Pheasantry Welcome Centre cafe in time for lunch at around 12.30.

The afternoon walk (4.5 miles) will start at 1.15 from the Pheasantry Welcome Centre (labelled orange on the map below) car park. TW11 members should be there no later than 1pm please.

Jane will take us through the gardens of Hampton Court Palace and along the Thames to Kingston before we return through Bushy Park
