Evening TWiP Photowalk of the Golden Gate Bridge and SF Skyline!
Details
It's time for our August Photowalk!
Frederick and I were brainstorming where to conduct this month's photowalk, and we realized that on our last few photowalks we may have covered too large of an area, resulting in our group getting split up. Not good.
So for this month's photowalk we're going to focus on a much smaller area in San Francisco's Crissy Field so we can stick together and get to know each other better while we shoot. Frederick and I will be walking around to answer your questions about technique and will help you set up your camera so you get killer images of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline at sunset.
This will be the first in a new kind of photowalk… the kind that resembles a workshop (only free)!
When?
Saturday 8/20 at 6:30pm
Where to Meet?
Warming Hut at Crissy Field (Presidio Building 983)
Marine Dr & Long Ave, San Francisco
The map link Meetup.com gives above is slightly off. Use this Google map with a placemark on the exact meeting point:

What to Bring
Your tripod if you have one. And do dress in layers because, being SF, the breeze might pick up by the water. Around 8:30pm we will meet up for drinks at a bar in the Marina.
How to Get There and Where to Park
The Crissy Field entrance is where Marina Blvd hits Mason Street. Go west on Mason Street (you will pass Planet Granite and House of Air on your left) until it intersects Hamilton Street where you will turn left. Start looking for parking then and walk to the end of Hamilton to the Warming Hut. Unfortunately, there are no easy public transport options to this location, so carpooling or biking is recommended.
