Let's play Axis & Allies Pacific 1940 (2nd Edition) AND Europe 1940 (2nd Edition)- but not combined= we'll play two separate games. Why? First Jonathan has an unbeatable (?) Japanese Strategy to demonstrate and secondly, I think two separate games will play faster. Jonathan gets Japan, but think of who you'd like to play......

PACIFIC 1940- Jonathan as Japan / Garth as U.S.A / Gavin as Anzac & U.K. The Imperial War Plan developed by Jonathan seemed to be effective- by the time Cease Fire was called, Japan was in control of all of China and India. The Japanese Empire's economy was out producing the U.S.
EUROPE 1940- Dusitin as Britain and U.S. (taken over by Adam) / Adam as U.S.S.R. / Pat as Italy / Dan as Germany- Germany made deep inroads into Russia and was at the Gates of Moscow when the cease fire was called. Britain and Italy fought back and forth in the Mediterranean - British forces were starting to move up thru Greece to threaten the German's flank. The U.S. had landed troops in Morocco.Russia was still alive and fighting!

My Japan strategy is not unbeatable. It just requires the Allies to be in perfect harmony about how they're going to defend against it.
