What is your running level? Just starting, pace (minutes/mile), longest run to date

I actually don't like running. But when I have a fun/inspirational group I LOVE it... weird how that works. That's why I need a group. I am a fast runner, but have fallen out of shape since getting a new work schedule/giving up my gym membership/and not being inspired to workout.

What days and times can you run? Where do you like to run?

My current work schedule is all over the place. So I will be sporadic, kind of. I can plan a few days in advance. Or I may have an early day off work... I am working on getting a solid schedule soon. I love running at Ft. Steilacoom park.

What is your current goal for running?

1. To get back into and stay in shape. 2. To meet and run with cool/fun people (of all levels, not just competitive runners. I feed off the positivity and motivation of an accepting group. The inspiration of everyone cheering everyone else on pumps me up. It's my drug... seriously.) 3. To avoid paying heavy gym memberships but still have a fun and reliable group to exercise with.


I am looking for a flexible running/exercise group in the Tacoma/Lakewood area. I LOVED attending my strength/cardio class At the YMCA but couldn't keep paying for membership. I've wanted to start a Ft. Steilacoom running group since then.
