As someone who has suffered and recovered from PTSD I am dismayed by the lack of attention paid to the mental health of our returning Vets. Far too many of our Vets are committing suicide from the unseen wounds of battle. PTSD is a real and widespread condition that Can be addressed in a group setting. I am not a therapist or mental health professional but I am opening my home to Anyone who is suffering from PTSD. Hopefully we can get enough people together (5-10) on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Anyone who has PTSD or thinks they do is welcome to the group.

I've decided to split this into two groups. One for Veterans and one for Civilians. While PTSD is a common link among sufferers how the two groups are contracting it vary greatly. Also, the culture of the two groups is different enough that each might feel more comfortable among their peers.

So every thursday (or whatever day it ends up on) at 6 pm there will be a meeting but it will alternate between the two groups.
