To meet other local people facing the challenges of MS. All friends, family, and caregivers are welcome. This meetup was also set up to:

1) Help promote the already existing support group that meets every second Saturday of the month at the Lafayatte Park Community Center.

2) Bring together the existing group online so that everyone can participate in the group since not everyone can make it to the meetings every Saturday.

3) To create more social outings during the month for people in the group.

As an organizer of meetup I am able to "nominate" anyone interested in becoming an assistant organizer. This means you would have the power to schedule your own meetings so if anyone is interested in that please let me know and I can do that. Meetup also allows you to upload pictures, files, and communicate through an online discussion board and a master group e-mail list. I hope everyone will find this much easier to keep in touch with each other.

Thank you and I hope to see everyone on here real soon!

Take care,

Laurel
