As mentioned towards the end of July, this month's meeting will be back at the Pinellas Park Art Society on August 28th.

Kicking things off, I'll be showing my top 10 favorite keyboard shortcuts across Photoshop and Illustrator (okay, so I guess it's really a top five of each) and talking about why each are invaluable to my workflow and how they can help improve yours if you aren't already using them.

Next up, we'll be taking an in-depth look at smart objects in Photoshop and how along with Adjustment Layers, they can be used to increase the flexibility of our files, expand creativity and all around, make working in Photoshop a lot more awesome.

Later in the evening, we'll be going "green" with Illustrator by building up our creative assets. Don't let the benefits of hard work on one project end with that project. Use Symbols, Brushes, Swatches, Graphic Styles and the Pattern Maker in Illustrator to build up an arsenal of flexible, custom, ready-to-use art that you'll have at your fingertips to cut down on production time and expand your creative possibilities.

Finishing off the night, we will of course, have giveaways in the form of donated books from our sponsors as well as Adobe Swag so a few lucky winners will be able to keep the learning and Adobe love going.

While we wait for Adobe to finish up work on our new community site, we will be using meetup.com to schedule and set up RSVPs for our meeting so if you plan to attend, please register here.
