Why are you interested in Tampa Lean Startup Circle

Because I'm interested in lean startup in general. I run my business on pretty similar principals.

How long have you been learning about lean startup?

I've been aware of it for quite a while it seems. I've given it more attention in the past few months as it influences authors whose work I find useful.

What is the name of your startup?

I don't actually call my businesses startups. Usually just "business" works for me.

What are the big challenges for your startup or company that you think lean startup can help with?

I'm interested in finding out about that. I think the biggest problem for many small and upstart businesses is the competitive nature of the national currency. Most of what circulates locally will be sucked away to DC, the headquarters of major corporations, or to the bank accounts of net creditors whose accumulation of interest-bearing contracts has led to a black hole effect. What's unfortunate is that we tend to focus on making money move, when in fact we should be focused on the exchange of commodities, products and services that currency is theoretically designed to facilitate.

Startups are too fat anyway, don't you think?
