Join The James Madison Institute for a “Florida Transparency Summit” on Saturday, August 28.

Keynoting the summit’s luncheon will be ANDREW BREITBART, social media entrepreneur and creator of the news sites Breitbart.com, BigGovernment.com, and BigHollywood.com. Well-known for having first released and publicized the ACORN videos, Mr. Breitbart will share how entrepreneurial citizen journalists can use the power of technology to expose corruption and hold government accountable.

Prior to the luncheon, the day kicks off with a panel discussion at 10:00 a.m. with experts on government transparency efforts here in Florida. Panelists include JEFF ATWATER (invited), President of the Florida Senate, BARBARA PETERSEN, President of the First Amendment Foundation, and WILLIAM MATTOX, JMI Resident Fellow.
