Although there are so many translations of Tao Te Ching available on the market, nearly none of them truthfully explains what the Chinese sage Lao Tzu tried to tell us 2,500 years ago. Being a Chinese American, I have had the privilege to study and learn from the orignal ancient Chinese text. Therefore, I'm so eager to share with others about what I have learned from Lao Tzu's profound wisdom.
We hope to provide a whole new perspective towards the true meaning of life. We want to bring happiness and harmony to our society together with the people who join our Modern Interpretations of Tao Te Ching lecture series.
**Please note that a new schedule will commence on 12/5/09 at the University Settlement at Houston St. Center at 273 Bowery St. Level # 2, Manhattan, NY 10002 (YMCA) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.**
Anyone who is interested in this great ancient Chinese classic - Tao Te Ching is welcome and invited to join. You are also welcome to share your thoughts about Tao Te Ching with us at every meeting. Please RSVP ASAP.
Dear Tao Te Ching Fonders,
Thank you very much for coming to our event on November 21st, 2009. It was a pleasure to meeting you all. I think the questions and ideas you shared with us were very good and important. As someone made a comment about Lao Tzu's great book that "Tao Te Ching is the most beloved book on earth", I hope there will be more Tao Te Ching Fonders join us in the near future. Like always, I look forward to discussing those ideas further with you on December 5th, 2009.
Once again, please note that our next meetup will be at 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Please be there 10 minutes earlier if possible. Until then, happy studying Lao Tzu's wisdom - Tao Te Ching.
Cheers,
Alice
