We have all experienced an occasional flash of intuitive knowledge that illuminates The Way with radiant certainty. During these magical moments, our life self-organizes with effortless flow and things feel just right. Each of our bodies -- physical, mental, emotional and energetic-- is a gateway leading to such deep harmony. When any one of these bodies is unbalanced the entire Self System becomes disordered. At those times, important decisions are made by rigid logic or animal instinct. Such impulsive life choices made in the absence of spiritual awareness are usually misguided, even harmful.
TaoZen uses traditional Taoist methods... Qigong, Tai Chi, visual and Energetic Meditations anchored with the ballast of Zen's clarity and simplicity. Integrated Spirit-in-Action is the essence of these practices. Qigong includes scores of breath-movements that range from vigorous and challenging to subtle and profound. They can be done lying, sitting or standing, and can be outwardly dramatic or invisible. Because of this broad range -- and because many are soft, healing and balancing -- Qigong is a wonderful supplement to other body-mind practices as well as a powerful independent practice.
Come explore TaoZen... Take an individual class or a whole series. No matter what you decide – it will be a step toward the Integration and Empowerment of your Body, Mind, and Spirit.
