Sunday: The Real Wine Fair 120 wines for £15 (free for Bon Vivants)

If you're around on Sunday, join us as we work our way around the room - I'm hoping to try at least 50 wines!!!  Then we'll wag out tails at the Pop up restaurant, The unfiltered Dog.

Should be jolly good fun!!! and of course, there will be some learning too!

You can arrive from 10am (but I'll be there around 2)

1. Let's meet at Androuet Cheese at 2pm.

2. Then outside the seminar room at 4pm(if you'd like to join the seminar, you'll need to check the sign up list as soon as you arrive at the show)

3. and then at 5:45 pm let's meet near at the stand THE PORTEGUESE WINE STORY.  There will be a map. And we can decide what we want to do for dinner.

What's on:

The Real Wine Fair is a wine tasting of 120 artisan winemakers who work organically, biodynamically and without additives in the winery. All the growers will be present to pour and talk about their wines. Various restaurants and artisan food specialists will be there to feed and refresh the customers including Zucca, Duck Soup, Donostia, Handmade Food, Hoxton Beach, Camden Town Brewery and Caravan Coffee. Other attractions include an on-site wine shop, seminars and a pop-restaurant in the evening called The Unfiltered Dog which is open to the general public and fair-growers alike.

The nearest tube station: are Shadwell or Wapping

It's not fair from Tower Hill Station, so check the buses from there


Sunday 17th March 2013 - 10.00am - 6.00pm

There will be various meeting points throughout the day, from 2pm.  (To be emailed on Saturday.)  I may arrive slightly earlier, depending on the masterclass sch.  Hopefully a few of us will check out the Pop Up restaurant at 6pm.  Please let me know in your rsvp if you are planning to stay for dinner


There are tutored tastings throughout the day, it's first come first serve, so get there early if you'd like to take part.

    from your exprerience is this event generally very crowded? Just pondering whether I should bring my DSLR with me or not (not much point if it's really crowded as I won't be able to get pics of the wine glasses).

      I haven't been to this fair before, but they are generally crowded. I think this one will be a little less busy. But I would say go for a compact. Up to you.
