The purpose of this group is very simple -- pressure Congress and the White House to restore Eisenhower's 91% tax rate on the wealthiest that made America so great in the first place. This is not a debate forum. Thirty years of tax cuts for billionaires and corporations have not created a single job. We want a tax system that works and taxing the rich has been proven to work more times than "belt-tightening" or other euphemisms for making Real Americans suffer for Wall Street's mistakes. This group is not concerned with political parties. Both major parties have demonstrated they do not nor do they care to speak for Real Americans. The debt "crisis" is easy to resolve by taxing the rich but no elected official can muster the political will to implement this common sense solution. It's time to stop talking and start doing.
