We are a non-partisan grass roots organization comprised of a diverse group of individuals united by our shared core values. We believe in and support the U.S.Constitution and the Bill of Rights, Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government, Free Markets,and Economic and Personal Freedom for all. We are a community committed to standing together, shoulder to shoulder, to promote our core values and to protect our country and the Constitution upon which we were founded!

-The uncontrolled expansion of government;
-Government control and/or the “nationalization” of private business;
-Government intrusion into our private lives;
-Governments’ uncontrolled “taxing, spending, and borrowing”;
-Government “bailouts”
-Government’s lack of “transparency” and “accountability” to the taxpayers;
-Wasteful government spending, including “pet projects” and political pay backs.
-Career politicians who are more concerned about “job security” than their constituents best interests.

The mission of the Tea Party Patriots of Monterey County is to bring together those who believe in our core values, to educate and inform others who presently do not understand or promote our core values, to advocate and secure public policy consistent with those values, and to support the efforts of political candidates and officeholders who foster our values in government.
