Making Teal Real

Details
hello Teal fans!
The Teal field is buzzing with idea seeds, energy, inspirations waiting to sprout. In this message, we, the hosting team of the Teal Practice Group bring some of them to you.
We’re delighted to report on the very lively, dynamic startup of our partner, the Teal for Start-ups (T4S) group. Its co-founders, Malek and Viktor, put up a beautiful T4S banner on Facebook which in just in a few weeks attracted 600+ members (of which 20-something are active) to create an open source, self-managing and evolving movement.
What are the key ingredients in the secret sauce of their success? Here’s one that’s not so secret: T4S constituted itself as a working group and has been driven by the desire of their founders to create something that they, themselves needed. They knew that only a community could birth it. Learn more about their initiative here (https://tealstartup.wordpress.com/).
That inspired us to ask ourselves, what is that we are passionate about creating, to which we would want to invite whoever feel called to play with us? Here come the invitations:
George and Jackie plan to present a workshop at the Integral European Conference 2016 on “How to Become a Teal Mentor: a collaborative inquiry to explore the 3 breakthroughs of reinventing yourself, the 4 quadrants of Teal competences, and the principles and practices of Teal Mentoring”. We want to develop the Teal Leadership Competences Framework into an open source document and invite those, who want to contribute to that work and input their energy into the important Teal gathering of the IEC conference in May. If that resonates with you, drop us a line and we’ll invite you into that workgroup for a generative dialogue. george@futureconsiderations.com & jackie@futureconsiderations.com
Anna is passionate about creating organisations in health and social care that support self-management, evolutionary purpose and wholeness in people and in what they co-produce together. Organisations where the 3 breakthroughs matter to everyone and become their own individual inner operating system as well as that of the collective and the organisation. She says, “I am looking for others who are keen to form a working group to help sense into and co-discover what kind of project within health and social care could model the viability and effectiveness of self-care and preventative healthcare, embedded within the NHS but not controlled by top down management.
It needs a clear framing of what we mean by self-care, what data we would be looking at and how we would prove effectiveness and cost saving. It needs a Teal business model, someone with knowledge about finances and someone with IT skills so that we could develop a highly functional and attractive online platform, providing open source knowledge (knowledge commons) that is easy to navigate and easy to contribute to.”
Of course the list above is not complete or definitive! If you have a project for which you’d like to develop a working group, use the Teal Practice Group as your platform to do so... bring it to this meeting. If you want to explore more deeply how we can support you, send us an email before that.

Anna, Andy, George, Jackie, Jon, and Jules
