2nd Annual Colin Mackay Mad Scot Trail Ride

Details

The Only Off-Road Charity Bike Ride in the Area!

Poconos - Jim Thorpe, PA - flat off-road gravel and hardpack trail 52 mile route, or turnaround at any point to create a shorter distance.

No registration fee, no minimum fundraising.

See official website: http://MadScotTrailRide.org

Start/Finish Area: http://g.co/maps/e3u77

Starting and finishing in Jim Thorpe, nestled in the Pocono mountains, ride along the scenic Lehighton River on a fine gravel and hardpack trail as early autumn settles over the valley.

Create your own distance and turn around at any point, or ride all the way to White Haven and back for a 52 mile route. Once on the main trail you will cross only one road! It doesn't get much better than that.

And what better reason than to help Nephcure to fight kidney disease and save lives! So come join us in honor of our dear friend, Colin Mackay, on our 2nd annual trail ride!

Colin suffers from Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and we do this ride each year to raise funds for Nephcure. Nephcure is dedicated to supporting research to find a cure for kidney diseases such as FSGS. Colin battles FSGS every day - he is a fighter, and a true hero!

There are no registration fees or fundraising requirements, but they ask that you follow your heart and fundraise or donate as best you can. No rest stops or support - think of it as a ride with friends.
