Team Red Invited to the Coatesville VA Parade

THIS IS NOT A TRAINING RIDE

NOTE: Due to limited response from Red Riders and Team Red, we are not officially participating in the parade, however Frank Morrone (our intrepid hero) may still be doing the parade. Please let us know if you might be coming.

Calling all Team Red Members and Red Riders!

The Coatesville Veteran's Administration Medical Center is hosting a parade for Veteran's week. They have invited all Red Riders and Team Red members to participate in this parade.

Promoting Team Red, Tour de Cure & Step Out

We are working with the VA on a program to promote Red Riders and Team Red for the Tour de Cure and Step Out. There are many vets with diabetes and the VA is promoting healthy lifestyle changes and exercise.

Inviting vets to join our year-round training for Team Red cycling is a great way for vets to get involved in fun and exercise with friends. We are hoping to do the same with Team Red walking as part of Step Out.

This parade will show affiliation and support for the VA and will help to promote our events, Red Riders, and Team Red to vets.

Day of the Parade

This will be a 1 mile parade through the VA Medical Center grounds. This is on a weekday so it will be difficult for most to get there, however if you can somehow make it to the parade it would be extremely helpful.

Please participate if you can and wear your Red Rider jersey to the parade if you have one.
