Announcing the TechMasters Anniversary Get-Together!

Back in September of 2008, the first meeting of TechMasters was held by a group of some of the brightest technology enthusiasts with a passion for improving their public speaking and leadership skills that the Twin Cities had to offer.

Eight years and dozens of success stories later, we wanted to throw a celebration with everybody that's been a part of our journey throughout the years and encourage anybody who's been a lurker on this Meetup group but hasn't made time to check us out - you know who you are - to come out and have some fun with us and see what we're all about.

Our Tuesday, September 20th meeting will be replaced with an anniversary bash for all current and past members of TechMasters! You are cordially invited to attend a relaxing and celebratory presentation of TechMasters through the years. No need to prepare a role: everything will be planned in advance. Just bring yourself, your memories and most of all: guests!

We're going to be hosting a Speechcraft workshop again starting October 4th!

Speechcraft is essentially a way to on-board new members into the Toastmasters experience with a guided, workshop-style program and help them get a jump start into participating in the club and completing the Competent Communicator manual. This is the perfect time to invite that hesitant colleague of yours out to check us out (or maybe that hesitant person is you), as they could visit a couple of times and figure out if they'd like to enroll in the program.

We hope to see all of your familiar faces at our anniversary party and we hope to meet a whole lot of new ones, as well!
