TechCentralSF will host “Gamification for Good” the CityCampSF kickoff event on Friday June 17th 5:30pm at Rocketspace, SF with a panel of leading authorities on the subject of gamification! Panel members including Matthew Barkoff of Badgeville will discuss how to use social gaming techniques to help your community. Peter Hirschberg, CEO and Founder of the Reimagine group will spark imagination and public awareness around a need to create Smarter Cities. Adam Gazzaley, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor of Neurology, Physiology and Psychiatry and Director, Neuroscience Imaging Center, UCSF will discuss the use of gaming techniques in understanding how the brain works and how we might use this as a tool to improve cognition.
