The doors are wide open for those folks who are passionate about all things technical. Our meetups encourage fun, socializing and high level talks on a variety of technology topics. There is a revolutionary advance in networking technology commonly referred to as the “Internet of Things.” More and more, objects such as refrigerators, televisions, cars, and industrial machines are getting equipped with sensors and gaining the ability to communicate with one another and with us! This is fundamentally transforming business models and causing disruptive innovation for individuals like you and me. The ability to obtain real-time information from and have two-way interaction with traditionally disconnected “things” is opening up doors we didn’t know existed and ways of thinking we didn’t know were possible!

To help us wrap our heads around the “Internet of Things” is our guest speaker, Kevin Murray, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Office of Cincinnati Bell. Prior to his work with Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Murray spent six years with Accenture, a leading global systems consulting firm. While at Accenture he focused on system integration projects for telecommunication and energy clients. Come hear how Kevin has taken his expertise and background to help create one of the most progressive organizations in the telecommunications industry.
