BDPA Presents: Technology Megatrends In The Global Marketplace

The internet has set in motion a wave of capitalism that has transformed the global marketplace, requiring new business models, and accommodating unprecedented access by global consumers. The buzz is real – Mobile Platforms, Cloud Computing, Social Media – and, unlike in previous incarnation are accelerating in real GDP effect in both developed and developing countries. There is a true digital transformation taking place, in many sectors such as technology, telecommunications, entertainment, media, banking, retail and healthcare, and the dynamics suggest accelerating innovation throughout the world.

This presentation will focus on technology megatrends and will also present a brief case study on Africa, one of the fastest growing telecommunications markets in the world. Entrepreneurs, established companies and new firms need to properly organize to embrace the digital economy. In North East Ohio, there are many opportunities in the global market to tap into, best aided by an awareness of global megatrends.

Great content. So often we view North America as "the world". The most opportunity is in the emerging markets.
