The Story of LucasArts, a panel moderated by Douglas Crockford

TechXploration's One-Year Celebration - Part Two!*

Noah Falstein

Randy Farmer

David Fox

Ron Gilbert

Chip Morningstar

Aric Wilmunder

Gary Winnick

Moderated by Douglas Crockford

@ 7:10 PM: The Story of LucasArts panel, with Douglas Crockford

@ 8:00 PM: Q&A

As always, this event will feature:

Please encourage your guests to register and RSVP themselves for a more fluid check-in.

Please bring a photo ID.

*TechXploration turns One!

To celebrate, we had back-to-back talks with Jill Tarter and Edward Tufte last month and are continuing on with... Dr. Jake Dunagan of Institute for the Future and a panel on LucasArts, moderated by Douglas Crockford.

Attend both our May 22 and June 7 talks and receive a special gift...

Happy Birthday TechXploration!

Even though I know almost everyone on last night's panel as a dear long time friend, seeing the list of them together and the topic they covered gave me a sense of awe. Something I have been longing for lately. I'm so sad I couldn't have joined after such an incredible event. After three hours of sleeping at my desk at home, I finally decided maybe my bed would be more comfortable. Apparently, I needed 16 hours of sleep last night. But I am really looking forward to more play with TechXploration. Play is a good thing!!!

What a wonderful event! It almost felt like I was a former employee at Lucasfilm Games just reminiscing about the good old days.

Does my husband need to register separately or can I wait list rsvp for two?

    June 7, 2013

    • Boris B.

Oh i'm definitely going. Events usually never get everyone that rsvp'd in time. On the other hand, there's also another meetup for this SAME event on here, and I also said i'd join and there's only 24 people on the list.. so hmm.. maybe i am registered? ;)
