Michael Slaby is among the world’s leaders in digital and social media strategy, technology, and how together they can elevate mission-driven organizations. Previously he was Fellow at Shorenstein Center at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Michael helped lead Obama for America as Chief Integration and Innovation Officer in 2012 where he oversaw the CTO, CIO, CAO, and ensured effective implementation and integration of technology across the entire campaign and as Deputy Digital Director and Chief Technology Officer in '08.
Brandon Passley is the Founder and CEO of the Mobile Makers Academy. He is also CTO of Vokal Interactive, where he builds and manages the teams and technologies that help clients small and large make awesome mobile experiences. Brandon believes in using education as a foundation for building great development teams. This belief, and the successes he saw from growing a team from 2 people to more than 40, was the inspiration for starting the Mobile Makers Academy: Seeing a lack of qualified iOS talent in the marketplace, Brandon recognized that he could address that issue and, at the same time, help numerous people get started in a new career.
