3D In the Cloud – What Does it Mean?

Details

What does it mean to design and visualize in the cloud? With the introduction of WebGL in HTML 5 the web front end experience is richer than ever. But what about the data on the backend? The cloud is an ideal environment for hosting large quantities of data, and processing that data. 3d data can be complex and operations on that data can be time consuming and resource intensive, but also infrequently needed. This is a perfect use of cloud platform based technology.
