Drinks & Demos: How Sports and Technology Team Up

Details

Time to put your game face on for Tech in Motion’s next Drinks & Demos!

It is kickoff for the second rendition of our Drinks & Demos, but this time the all-star companies participating specialize in Sports Technology. Come to CityCoHo | Philly Nexus on Wednesday, April 23rd for free food, drinks and the chance to check out several athletically-inclined IT companies.

A View From My Seat (http://aviewfrommyseat.com/) will help you avoid winding up with an obstructed view. OneTwoSee (http://onetwosee.com/) can show you exactly what technology goes into a game center and how to monetize it. PremierSports (http://www.premiersports.com/) uses IT to connect coaches and students, so you’ll be ready to use TopScore (http://www.usetopscore.com/) to manage all of your sporting events after stopping by to chat with both of their founders. Students Run Philly Style (http://www.studentsrunphilly.org/2011/index.php) will also be in attendance, as our Charity Spotlight, so make sure to see them too. Maybe they'll inspire you to get into the game yourself!

Come on out for chitchat and snacks, and stay for the one-on-one demonstrations. The founders and developers will be on hand to answer any business or technical questions you might have.

Thank you to CityCoHo (http://citycoho.com/) for providing the space.

Students Run Philly Style (http://www.studentsrunphilly.org/2011/index.php) | @StudentsRunPhil (https://twitter.com/StudentsRunPhil)

Students Run Philly Style transforms students' lives through running and mentorship. We pair volunteer Running Leaders with teams of students to inspire them to push themselves further than they ever imagined. Their goal: the completion of a full or a half marathon. The courage and effort required, the unfailing support of a caring mentor and the thrill of its ultimate achievement results in a student who knows anything is possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, Workbridge Associates (http://www.workbridgeassociates.com/) and Jobspring Partners (http://www.jobspringpartners.com/), for their generous support.
