Want to learn how to code CSS faster? Web designers are undoubtedly familiar with CSS, the style sheet language used to format markup on Web pages. However CSS can become easily verbose when working on non-trivial projects. Brady will give a brief overview and tutorial of CSS Pre-Processing tools Less and Saas, two fantastic tools for designers who code, and developers to help them work more efficiently and quickly

Kai Brunner (http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=1717088&locale=en_US&trk=tyah) started designing interactive products in Switzerland, just 20 years ago. After moving to the Bay Area, in the past 15 years of designing emerging products, and being in early-stage startups, his adventures bring insights into how designers can better hit the ground running within organizations that are still familiarizing themselves with UX and UI practices, as they continuously evolve with intense market competition.

Quality of user experience and visual design is today's intense battleground companies fight in to claim their market share. Many organizations that are recently bringing top-notch design expertise in-house navigate unsuspected challenges in developing design leadership, and adapting their culture. Conversely designers face demands more subtle and complex than just producing great work. There are effective ways to get through the growing pains, and enjoy the process.
