Our panelist will discuss topics ranging from recent changes to their design processes to their top UX principles that are most important to a transportation startup. We'll even peek into their favorite UX horror stories. This is a tech talk you do not want to miss.

Matt champions the user's needs across mobile and web products as the Director of Design at Metromile. Before that, he was the Director of UX at Salesforce for the Community and Chatter products. Matt has a Bachelor's in Computer Science from University of California at Santa Barbara.

Jake Honig is the Prior to HONK, Jake was a cofounder and the managing partner of Proof Technologies where he ran growth/product for a wide array of partners ranging from mortgage companies to large scale -ecommerce. He's passionate about maintaining a constant dialogue with consumers and building flexible and meaningful product experiences. Jake keeps a running journal of hidden gem taco trucks throughout Los Angeles and hates blue cheese.

Cassy is a User Experience professional focusing on end-to-end experience design, including user research and UI. She has been in the field for over 15 years cultivating her skills in coding, research, interaction design and exploring web and mobile platforms. She has a BS in MIS and Entrepreneurship and a graduate degree in HCI. Her current career focuses on startups, leading UX at Scoop, and working with the Academy of Art as a graduate professor in Web Design and New Media to teach the next generation of UX and UI designers. Her passion is incorporating psychology and behavioral research into products. Outside of work she loves traveling to new places, watching good and bad TV, and finding new places to eat with her group of friends.
