TeenLife.com is an amazing resource for parents with older children 12-19. I started the site when I moved to Boston with my family, including two boys who were in 6th and 8th grade at the time. All of the parenting resources I found were geared to families with younger children. One snowy winter, I began researching local summer programs at my kitchen table and the rest is history. Today, TeenLife Media features more than 4500 local, national and international listings, including summer programs, community service opportunities, gap year programs, schools and other local resources ! All parents have to do is register (for free) to gain access to all of the listings.
