Cancer, molecular switches, and the promise of future drugs
Details
Talk Synopsis
Mickey Kosloff is a biochemist and computational biologist from the University of Haifa. His lab focused on deciphering the 3D structural code that determines molecular recognition among signaling proteins. His talk will connect how molecular information is conveyed by molecular switches, how such signal transduction is central to normal physiology and to diseases such as cancer, and how future drugs can take advantage of such molecular switches - resulting in more efficient drugs with fewer side effects.
