What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity to participate in golf events at golf courses around Middle Tennessee. We are a group of co-ed golfers, mostly age 45+. We invite players at all skill levels (must have golf clubs and have played before) that are interested in fun recreational golf. The majority of our events will be in the Middle Tennessee area. The formats are usually Scrambles or Shambles with about 35-40 players. We also have social events with the overall theme of fun and fellowship.
To protect your privacy, we are a Private Meetup group. There is a $10 annual fee to join Tennessee Golf Events. When you request membership you are asked a few questions for your profile for us to understand your golf status and contact information. You must provide a phone number and email address to be considered for membership. The host organizing an outing will need to be able to reach participants. After you have been accepted as a member you will receive a Welcome letter which will give you details on how and when to pay the membership fee.
You may also want to join 'Southeast Golf Events' if you are interested in our weekend road trips for golf around the Southeast. Trips are planned for areas such Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA area; Cherokee, NC; Kodak/Dandridge, TN in the Smokey Mtns; Fairfield Glade Resort, TN; Lexington/Louisville, KY; Tellico Village, TN, near Knoxville; and Gulf Shores, AL.
