I'm not a fancy cook, I love p(l)easant food. I'm part Danish, part Indian, lived in Holland for 20+ years - will eat anything and love to experiment. I wish I knew more about wine. One of the nicest meals I ever had was in a tiny family restaurant in Lisbon: scallops with garlic, olive oil & parsley - divine. And then there was the heavenly panna cotta with lavender in London (which I've never been able to recreate). I'm fortunate enough to have (in a previous working life) eaten in Japan - tofu clouds... but none of this is I can make myself. It would be nice to meet people who share a love of food = a love of life (in my book) If I ever get a coat of arms (!!) it would say Beatitudo per cibum, which I hope means happiness through food (like spa = health through water).
The Liberties, Dublin city center My dining table - which fills the living room - can accommodate 8 (including me)
Food tastes better when it's made with love. I hate eating alone, and love cooking for others and sharing food. This house is happiest when it's filled with happy tummies, laughter, good conversation - or just quiet munching.
