WHAT HAPPENS IN AUSTIN STAYS IN AUSTIN!

It's time to start making plans again, hotel reservations - get bike ready - buy cool shirt...

We will ride up early Saturday, drop stuff off at hotel, take a nice ride to Wimberley for lunch, ride Devil's Backbone and River Road then later some will go to the rally and others will go to 6th street. When it comes to vendors this is one of the largest rallies I have seen. So start saving some $ and make a list of all the things you NEED to have. When it comes to block parties 6th street is hard to beat. Beautiful bikes, bands playing and good food. Either way it's a blast!!! (it may also be weird, something about Austin)

THE ROUTE is mostly HWY-290 and for safety riding up as a group we will need to maintain the highway speed limit. Trip is 125 miles total / 2 hours (to the rally grounds). We will make one stop in 77 miles at the Buc-ee's in Giddings. That's right, two buc-ee's in two hours just in case we forgot something.

HOTELS Make reservations ASAP and feel free to stay anywhere you choose. I will post where some of us will be staying as soon as I have the information. We usually try to get a group discount if possible.
