A nice walk along the river, we shall pop into the pub at the end, and maybe one on the way for a drinky.
The interesting town of Richmond is the start point for this walk, where the Thames takes on a more rural feel. From Richmond you pass through Petersham Meadow, past Marble Hill House and Ham House, through quite rural settings to Teddington Lock and Weir, which is the point at which the Thames is no longer tidal.
From Teddington you continue into the town of Kingston-upon-Thames, which has an attractive market place, then on along the edge of Hampton Court Park to the historic Hampton Court Palace.
put my phone number in your phone now - 07415 46 15 87 - in case you arrive late, and rush around asking locals 'where is the thames path ?' and then run down the path wondering where we are, because we could be in a pub, and you go past us !
This is a bit rural, so bring suitable footwear, as could get muddy (wear what you want, this is just so i can say i told you so )
£3 per person who turns up...i gotta order some cards to leave in pubs along the way :)
top tip-try be early, richmond can take longer to get to than you may think !
Great walk with a variety of scenery. Good and select walking companions. Thank you Jason.

it looks like we will be meeting up with another group, on the path, sunday, so will be nice to mingle, this may cause problems finding tables in pubs but we can all break up and find somewhere on the day, usually only half who say yes turn up, so... oh whatever, we shall survive eh, its just a walk !
