Hate romantic comedies? Tired of art-house? Bored of foreign language films? Can't stand period dramas?

If all you want to do is go grab a popcorn and see the latest, loudest and dumbest 'All Action, No Plot' blockbuster, then this is the group for you.

This is the club for all those guys out there who want to see District 9 or Inglourious Basterds, but have been told in no uncertain terms to 'forget it' by their better halves.

If you're looking forward to seeing Avatar, or are excited at the news of Star Trek returning to the Imax, then sign-up now!

We're a democratic movie club, so if any member have suggestions for movies that they want to see for the next meetup then great! Likewise, if I suggest a movie that no-one wants to see, please let me know and we'll change it.

I believe Avatar is being released on Dec 17th in Imax, so assuming that will be the same elsewhere. We can firm up whether we'll go to Melbourne Central or Imax closer to the time.
