The ninth Atlanta Semantic Web Meetup will happen on Thursday July 15th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Emory University Woodruff Library. This is the Emory location that we have met at in the past, but if you haven't yet been there, see the directions below (it can be a little tricky). Also note, this is Thursday not Friday.
The first half hour will be for socializing & networking with other folks in the semantic web community. We're excited to have Karen Coyle join us remotely and discuss changes to library related technology - especially as the semantic web applies. The rest of the meeting will be open for general discussion.
The topics for discussion at this meeting are:
- Greetings and member introductions
- Book Discussion
- Discussion on various tools
- Next meeting time & place (also discuss alternate earlier time/place for remote presentations)
* Note: the agenda is subject to change - it will be updated here if this is the case.
Emory University Woodruff Library, 540 Asbury Circle, Atlanta, Georgia 30322
The meetup should be in Room 773, take the elevators in the back of the library - there is no 6th floor in the front part of the library. The link has information on parking (Near the "P" on the bottom of the map of the campus). Also see this link for more detailed driving directions including where to park. If the room is changed, it will be posted here and emailed prior to the event.
For those that want to hang out and socialize, I've heard good things about the Emory Inn - we may decide to walk over and hang out. You can reach me at[masked] if you have questions.
