Ok, I'm planning to do one more intro this Sunday @ 2pm. The RSVP's are now open so if you want to attend, please sign up.
Also, I was talking to a friend who teaches Photoshop in Denver. He suggested an idea that I think would be exceptionally beneficial to the group.
Yes, I want to move on but at the same time, I also want to make sure you guys are ready. So I'm going to schedule a practical lab for the following 2 weeks. This is where you'll be given a specific assignment at the beginning of the class and work through it on your own. I'll be around to help.
It's very important that you be able to do the basics before I throw more info at you, I just want everyone to better understand and become more proficient using layers & tools.
It'll be similar to the examples as before but a bit more difficult and obviously with a different image. I'm sure everyone has been working diligently with the files I gave you so now is your chance to put that effort to the test.
Even if you've not yet attended any of the workshops, and already know how to cut, copy, paste, use some of the main tools ie; lasso, eraser, paint bucket, magnifier, hand and move tool and create & manipulate layers, you're welcome to come. (advanced users need not apply)
I don't want to backtrack. Obviously none of this will be 'graded' but I really want to see how well you do so I'll know what/how to plan the following sessions.
If you want to excel, let's give this a try. I strongly urge you to take advantage of this opportunity because I'm certain it'll help in the long run.
Please don't hesitate to contact me w/ any questions.
