Charming Python with C++

Details

Join us at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6th as Tanner Sansbury presents "Charming Python with C++".

Integrating programming languages can be a challenge. From differences in fundamental types to ownership semantics, it is easy to get lost in the boundary between C++ and Python. This presentation will guide its audience through using a handful of tools, making it easier to add some Python zen into C++ or reuse a battle-tested C++ library in Python.

Tanner Sansbury is a software engineer at RetailMeNot. As an enthusiastic programmer, he has a strong passion for learning, self improvement, and improving the programming community. He can often be found in the late hours answering questions StackOverflow.

The talk will take place at Rackspace's Austin office, located on the East side of IH-35 right before Rundberg and after Henna Chevrolet (there is a sign for Rackspace which is visible from the highway). Feel free to park in the same lot as the big Rackspace flag.
