Mills Pond in the Wells Branch area is a great quiet neighborhood gem with crushed granite walking loop and limestone blocks around a swim area for relaxing while the fuzzy kids play.

We were there from about 10:00-145... Didn't see any goldens or owners...hope we have better luck next time.

That would explain it!
Hey all, I'm new to the group and not sure where most people are coming from. I figured it would be most convenient for North Austin/Round Rock/Cedar Park folks but would be great to do regular meetup swims/play across and around the city to make it most convenient for folks!

I am coming from Plugerville, but we have driven all over the place for meet-ups. I am working on scheduling meet-up all over the area and with different activities to accommodate every one in the group.

Tamara, thank you so much for all your hard work. I am so excited to go to this meetup and hope to discover a lot more swim/play places in north Austin/RR/Cedar Park/Pflugerville. I love my dog and try to take him everywhere, but it's always a bummer when I don't have time to pick up the dog after work in Round Rock and then drive all the way back down south to the happy hours and weekday events that tend to be in South central/south Austin. Can't wait to see you guys at Mills Pond!

...way too far for me. I am in Dripping Springs. It'd take at least an hour or more to get there...
From rescues to purebreds, there sure are a lot of golden retrievers in the Central Texas area! Let's get them together often and flood the creeks, parks, and dog events with goldens! Come along and join us!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
