IF YOU’RE NOT SURE ABOUT COMING OUT OF YOUR CLOSET
(OR WHETHER OR NOT YOU WANT TO COME OUT OF YOUR CLOSET),
THEN COME SPEND TIME WITH US IN OUR CLOSET

I will be quoting Gianna E. Israel in some areas because I can't tell it better then her.
"People need to be very careful with their judgments when discussing and
exploring gender boundaries and roles. Just as there is nothing wrong with
having a healthy en femme persona for a crossdressing male, there is also nothing wrong with having a healthy sense of masculinity. The preceding theme
is true primarily for transgenderists and crossdressers, although even
transsexuals need to maintain some sense of masculinity in order to be a whole
person. All humans need to find a successful balance between their feminine
and masculine identity and needs. This is particular so for transgender persons,
because we are always mindful of how our gender appears to others. However,
it is also true that non-transgender individuals explore similar themes. This may
explain why gender studies are so popular at universities and gender role play
games are enjoyed by a wide variety of people." Gianna E. Israel

In the late '60's into the early '70's women had there WOMEN RIGHT MOVEMENT. Up until then women could only ware dresses, and now you see them in slacks, suites, pants, and so-on. Then here is my question to you. Why can't MEN have there MOVEMENT of there own and let us ware dresses? I personally find them comfortable.

I, myself is not an Activist, but I do want to feel good about me and will try to help others with some interest; I myself am a newly formed OUT OF THE CLOSET CD and still coming to terms with it; I want to find support in the lifestyle, as well.

"In the pursuit of coming to terms with having a need to crossdress it is very
important to feel good about yourself. Having people discount your needs
doesn't feel very good. I suggest if someone criticizes your choices, take some
time to think about what the person has said. Decide if their criticism offers any
useful suggestions on how to improve your situation. The very best advise
typically comes from a person talking about their own experiences. If you hear
about positive coping strategies that other people used successfully, try to
consider how such strategies might work for you. However, always remember
that free advise is just that, free to take or leave at your discretion." Gianna E. Israel

So that said, Come on down (Your the next contestent on the P.I.R. - lol) and have FUN.

I myself am a 40 yrs old white person M to F in Austin.

This is NOT a sex or dating site, just support and understanding group.

I'm hoping to have you to get involved in this group. I can only do so much unless we all get involved. Our lives busy enough through work and other stuff. So lets enjoy each others company. I welcome all your inputs, so please start talking...
