Special BATC Swim, Bike Run workout - Mock Race and Charm City Massage Clinic

Join the BATC for a Mock Race swim, bike run workout this Saturday at 8:00am.
Mock Race will allow people to set up a transition area and get their "hustle" on! The swim is in open water, parallel to shore, so if you are uncertain/new to open water you can stand up. You can choose to swim 600/1200 or 1800 yards. The swim is followed by a two-loop 7 mile bike ride (total of 14 miles) or a 15 mile route. Then a 5k in the park.
Prior to starting the Mock Race SBR - we will have the opportunity of a Clinic from Geoff Pritchard of Charm City Massage :
Title: Keep Training Up & Injuries Down
Geoff Pritchard, owner of Charm City Massage in Timonium, will present on how to keep your connective tissue strong and healthy to lower the probability of injury. Too much training without attention to movement quality and proper recovery will lead to frustrating downtime; especially toward the end of racing season. Geoff will share simple techniques to practice at home and answer any questions you have related to muscular self-care.
Following the mock race, Geoff will also be available for 15-minute hands-on sessions to help treat any current aches.
BATC will also be offer tri suit sample fittings for the upcoming gear order!!
8:30am Charm City Massage Clinic
9:00am transition set up and swim start
There is a $5 fee to enter the park- payable in cash to the Rangers at the gate.
The annual pass is $75 and lasts for the calendar year. It gets all members of the vehicle in for free to all day use areas (i.e. hammerman), a 10% discount on concessions, and free boat launching at all state owned marinas.
