I am starting this group to create opportunities for amateur musicians, like myself, to get together and play music. The focus of the group will be on sight reading for fun, and other informal gatherings, rather than building a performance-level repertoire. The emphasis will be on stringed instruments, but the group is open to any amateur musician. You should join this group if you used to play an instrument, maybe the flute, violin, viola, etc. and you want to get it out and start playing again.
