Veg Dinner & Film "Genetic Roulette - The Gamble of our Lives"

Earthsave's Veg Dinner Educational Series meets on the last Saturday of each month, giving people a chance to sample a wonderful variety of tasty vegan cuisine and meet lots of friendly, like-minded people. (We ask everyone to RSVP by calling[masked], or emailing [masked])

Our March 29th event will feature a screening of the documentary "Genetic Roulette - The Gamble of our Lives". When the US government ignored repeated warnings by its own scientists and allowed untested genetically modified (GM) crops into our environment and food supply, it was a gamble of unprecedented proportions. The health of all living things and all future generations were put at risk by an infant technology. This award winning documentary provides compelling evidence to help explain the deteriorating health of Americans, especially among children. It features commentary from a wide range of eminent physicians, scientists, policy makers and activists, and offers a recipe for protecting ourselves and our future.

Dinner Guests may choose to either bring a dish made without animal products (to serve 8) plus $5 (members pay just $2) donation; pay $15 (members pay just $12) to enjoy dinner and presentation; or pay $5 for presentation only. We eat first, then make announcements, vote and present awards for our favorite dishes, and then show presentation. Let us know in advance, if possible, if you plan to pay for dinner rather than bring a dish. RSVP by calling[masked], or emailing [masked]. These monthly dinner events are usually held on the last Saturday at the Learning Center of Your Prescription for Health, 10210 S. Dolfield Rd. in Owings Mills. Please RSVP and join us if you can!

DIRECTIONS From Beltway 695: take exit 19 onto I-795 (Northwest Expressway). Get off at Exit 4 (Owings Mills Blvd). Bear right when exit splits.
