How easy or difficult have you found it to be vegan, or to move in that direction? Is there a specific way that you would like to be supported by this group, or a discussion topic that you would especially appeal to you?

My mom has been a vegetarian for 22 years, so I grew up enjoying vegetarian meals. I've always been very compassionate toward animals, so I finally decided to become a vegetarian 3 years ago. Surprisingly, it hasn't been hard at all. Regarding support/discussion, I'm very open, and just excited to meet new people. I am making the leap toward being a vegan, and hope to be fully vegan by the end of 2013. I aspire to be at least 50% raw vegan, and enjoy 50% of my vegan meals cooked. I looove to talk about clean eating and whole food nutrition. I'm a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I studied over 100 dietary theories, so this is very much an interest of mine. I'm not a food snob or food police though and only give my opinion when asked. I'm also a foodie, so I eat all kinds of stuff (good and bad lol).

Hi there. I'm a 3 year vegetarian, Lifestyle Coach & Writer, married (wife Tiffany), Buddhist, lover of all things mind/body/spirit & holistic, an animal/nature lover, avid reader & have many interests. Excited to meet new, positive, mature friends.
