Something good is growing in Bandera. Bandera Community Garden located at the Silver Sage will involve people of all ages to come together with a common spirit and purpose--growing healthy food to feed bodies and souls.
Families, individuals, classrooms and community groups will interact and connect with the earth at this special place.
As soil is tilled and enriched, so will fertile minds learn about the fundamentals of growing healthy food.
As young plants are watered, participants will learn about collecting rainwater instead of depleting the city's water supply.
As healthy food is harvested, gardeners will learn the value of high quality, vitamin-packed, organic fruits and vegetables.
The Bandera Community Garden is a hands-on, year round educational tool for all who want to learn how to become self-sufficient through sustainable gardening and give back to the community at the same time.


Meet other locals who are interested in using city and rural spaces to create both private and Community Gardens. Discuss this great way to help out the environment and your local community by growing your own food, herbs, plants, etc.! Come and join us for our next meeting.
