Hi everyone:
Please join our FB group when you have a chance for more information.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1026073260743980/
We will have our meeting on June 7, Sunday at 7 pm
The location is very convenient. Go to BTS Asok (exit #2), and it is only a couple of minutes walk. Members have stayed later than 11 pm socializing after the presentation. And if you need to come late, that is no problem too!
There is no charge for this event, FREE! And there will be drinks offered with special discounts. You can also order food with a 10% discount, just reference the travel meet up before you get your bill. Speak to the staff and ask for a wrist band so you will be eligible for the discounts.
Our meeting will be on the 2nd floor in the big room.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks, Ric
The Agenda
First Speaker:
Ric Gazarian will host Guess That Country to get the travel juices flowing.
Ric blogs at http://www.globalgaz.com
Second Speaker:
Petz Patiyut
Topic:
Free trip around the world!
Have you ever thought about travelling with as little expenses as possible? Staying at the beautiful home of a stranger on the top of a hill which looks out to a harbor full of yachts? Having access to a secret beach in New Zealand that even locals could not get to! Or meeting the most popular chef in Christchurch and being offered private accommodation in a kauri wooden house which is over 100 years old?
Well , would you believe me if I told you that I have had all kinds of unique experiences like these during my travels, and they were all free?
You could have this too! Next time you travel maybe you want to make your trip more exciting and have a real local experience . You can do this by using a "Host network".
Petz Patiyut will tell you about host networks. He is the very first Thai person who use host networks to travel the world.

Third Speaker
We then will have a three-person Panel of travel experts answering questions on these different social media platforms where the audience can ask questions.
The Panel:
Ian Ord
From a young age, Ian Ord was always a wanderer. Even at 2 years of age, on a walk with his father, he had to lead the way and explore the world around him. At the Age of 16, Ian got his first ‘real’ taste of the world outside his home town of Guelph, Canada when he decided to hitchhike across the country with one of his colleagues. 2 1/2 months later, with what felt like a lifetime’s worth of experience, he arrived to his final destination for this journey, in the city of Victoria, British Columbia.

Rosie Stewart
I left the UK on one way ticket in 2010 and fell in love with a life of travel and searching for new experiences. I have used host networks such as Couch Surfing, Help X and Wwoof in countries including Australia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Thailand. Travelling by host networks is a great way to meet amazing people from around the globe and acquire new skills along the way.
