Talk: Location, Location, Location!

Location is more important than ever in the mobile web. Location based services, location based advertisement, location based marketing, location based everything. After going through a short introduction to Couchbase Server 2, Patrick will introduce GeoCouch, a spatial extension for Apache CouchDB and Couchbase. He will explain how to create geo-aware JSON objects, how to create spatial views and bounding boxes and how to effectively store location based information. Afterwards we will discuss use cases, Q&A and have a drink at Cornelia & Co. (C/ Valencia 225).
