I decided to start this group because there isn't one in Bath for social get togethers, walking, dining, film, music gigs etc.

Tuesday Table tennis from 11-13 at Bradley stoke leisure center

We have 5 table tennis tables booked in the hall at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre from 11:00-12:55.

• The cost is £3.00 per person, payable in cash to myself on the day (exact money, if possible, please). This covers 2 hours of table tennis. Parking is free.

• Please bring your own bat (I have one spare bat). Balls will be provided.

• Wear trainers and remember to bring water.

The numbers are limited to a maximum of eight more than tables booked so please be prepared to play doubles, swap in and out and possibly have some non-playing time.

This will be a mixed ability group and the aim is to have fun. Coffee / lunch in the café afterwards for those who want to stay on. Note: the café doesn't take cash payments.

I book and pay in advance so please change your RSVP status at least 24 hours before the event if you’re unable to come along. This will give people on the waitlist sufficient notice or to allow me to increase the cost of the session to meet the overheads. If you fail to give sufficient notice of non attendance you will be expected to pay the next time you attend. If you fail to turn up 3 times without changing your RSVP in a timely manner you will be barred from this event.

This event is run by a volunteer and amateur. It is run on a best-effort, not for profit basis. You join this event on the basis that you are responsible for your own health and safety. Pease be aware that during school holidays the centre runs children's holiday camps in the other half of the sports hall and this inevitably leads to a lot of noise which can be distracting.

Dine with me at Prego in Westbury Park. I will be ordering from the set menu, which offers 2 courses for £19 and 3 for £22 if we dine between 5-6pm.

I have booked a table for 5pm.

Please check the menu and prices in the link below. Although the menu is likely to have changed, the menu will give you an indication of what their food is like.

To secure your place at the meal, please pay £10 deposit, to be returned to you on the evening. Deposits will only be returned if you give at least 48 hours notice that you can't come, as I have secured the table with my credit card and will be charged for any non-attenders.

A service charge will be levied on the bill and everyone is expected to pay their share of this.

Please note that we have the table until 6.50pm. I will send my details to you and payment details for the deposit by Meetup message. Please check your messages.

Skittles Evening: Harington Club, BATH

All you have to do is throw high density rubber balls (4.5" diameter) at wooden pins and try to miss the gaps! Skittles alleys can vary considerably in length but are usually around 10 metres. ARRIVE BY 7.15pm for a 7.30pm PROMPT START. A match fee of £2-5 (depending on numbers attending) may be requested to cover the cost of a 'Sticker Up'. PLEASE BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT IN CASH. The Harington Club also prefers to be paid in cash for drinks to save on admin costs.

The Harington Club is a Private Members Club so everyone who is not a Member is effectively an invited guest. A 'House Rule' is that coats should not be worn in the bar so please leave them in the cloakroom on arrival.

Meal at Ragu - Menu Del Dia £30

Join me for a Menu Del Dia at Ragu. This menu is offered from 5-6pm only, so I have booked the table for 5pm. I have booked for the outside covered area (so bring layers in case it isn't as warm as I hope it will be in May).

Please check out the menu before RSVP-ing yes. It is not a budget option so please check that the food and the prices suit you before committing.

IMPORTANT: there will be a 12.5% service charge added to the bill and I expect everyone at the table to pay their portion of this. If you don't like tipping, this isn't the event for you!

I have used my credit card to book the table and will be charged £25 for any no show. I therefore ask for £25 from each of my fellow guests, as a deposit, to secure their place at the table.

I will require the deposit to be paid in full by Thursday May 14. If you haven't paid by then, I will assume you no longer wish to dine and will remove you from the guest list so that someone on the wait list can take your place.

I will send you details about how to pay through a Meetup message.

If you are on the waitlist, please keep an eye on this event in case a place becomes available.

Deposits will ONLY be returned if you cancel with at least 36 hours' notice as that I can let the restaurant know in time. If we can find someone else to take your place, I will refund BUT if I am charged for you not attending, I will not refund any monies you have paid.

Please note that if anyone does no show, I will also reserve the right to remove them from the guest list for any future event that requires a deposit or payment in advance.
