I have a former client with an interesting project that I think might be well solved by Clojure. They have a requirement for a fuzzy parser for HTML email to extract certain key information. The parser needs to be configurable via a set of easily editable rules. It needs to be packaged up as a JAR and callable from Java (well, actually CFML, but similar considerations apply). It needs to have an automated test suite. It needs to run on Windows.
After the initial build (their ballpark expectation is a 40-80 hour engagement), I expect there would be ongoing maintenance of the parser and/or rules on a part-time basis. I simply don't have time / bandwidth to take this on.
If you're interested in learning more, contact me off-list, tell me a bit about your background and why the project interests you - and I'll make introductions to the client.
p.s. It doesn't _have_ to be Clojure but Enlive and rule-based sequence processing made it seem like a good fit.
