Quick rundown of the last two games.

Our group are members of the Daiss military. It's not mandatory to serve, but you can move up in your station in life if you do. So with the heads of the churches set to declare a new Priest King, they called in the military to help the City Watch keep order. There was a small issue with some dwarves and the Watch that had some international tensions high, but everything was settled. Not before our group was suckered into a fight with some but came out on top. After Priest King Liam was announced as the new leader of Daiss, the group was given new orders to head to a section of the Southern part of the New City and figure out who was murdering some of the more well to do citizens and why they were dumping them in this section of the city. Their search led them to seek out a Half-Orc pimp named Oneeye Buckskin. He was more interested in killing the group and turning Krislynn into another of his girls rather than talking. Needless to say this did not end well for him. After they defeated Buckskin they tried to question him, but he was not very forth coming. All he knew was that one of his girls had seen a figure dressed all in black dumping a body a few days before. Once they got all they could from him, they hung him.

They were able to find the former street walker, but as they tried to get the information from her she was murdered by a Halfling in all black. They tried to capture him but ended up killing him instead. They found on him a small white token with three marks and a note in a language noone knew. Our group was then told of a crazy Gnome who might be able to help. To say this Gnome was crazy and paranoid was just scratching the surface. He was able to tell them though that the people in black were members of the Assassins Guild, and that the note was instructions for meeting with another member in a few days time with proof they were all dead. The Gnome also said that those being dumped in the Southern part of the New City were also people who were involved with smuggling in some not so legal things. The chain of command told them to continue to investigate since they were already on the trail. So they decided to meet the other assassin to see what he knew. They were able to capture him, but not before a hard fight on the docks. In their interrogation they found out that there was alot more going on than they were aware. They had been marked by the Guild for death, more than drugs and illegal material were being smuggled in, and there was nothing they could do about it. Before they could ask anything else, the assassin broke a poison capsule and killed himself. They were left with another white token with more markings, and a bag yet to be opened.
